DENVER – University of Denver men's basketball freshman forward Tymo Sternicki is back in Europe this week to represent Poland in the 2024 FIBA U-18 EuroBasket Tournament in Skopje, North Macedonia.
The tournament will run from July 26 to August 4. This year's field includes 22 teams in Division B that will battle for the league title and one of three promotion spots into next year's U-18 Division A Tournament.

Sternicki was featured by FIBA as one of the eight players to watch to make an impact in this year's tournament. FULL STORY
A 6-foot 9 forward from Gdynia, Poland, Sternicki comes to Denver having played on the U15, U17 and U18 teams in Poland. He led his team to U15 and U17 Polish championships as well as being named the U15 Championship MVP in 2021.
