QUICK HITS:
- Wednesday's match will be Denver's second of three against a Power-4 opponent this year after DU opened the season against North Carolina on August 15. Denver will also play at Colorado on September 5.
- This will be just the seventh time in Denver's Division I history that the team has played a regular-season match on a Wednesday and the first since hosting Wyoming on October 2, 2002.
- When including postseason matches, Denver has played on a Wednesday on 17 prior occasions after opening the Sun Belt tournament on a Wednesday every year from 2001-11.
- This is DU's first regular-season match to be played on a day other than Thursday-Sunday since hosting SMU on Monday, September 6, 2021.
- In both of Denver's matches so far in 2024, the Pioneers have held their opponent to just a single corner kick.
- A total of 22 Denver student-athletes have seen playing time through the first two matches, and only seven have started in both.
- Three Pioneers made their collegiate debuts on Sunday in redshirt freshmen Shay Payne and Nora Zelazny, and junior Alina Santos, who started in goal.
- In total, five DU players have made their first collegiate appearances through two matches this season – and only one is a true freshman.
- Among the Pioneers who extended notable playing streaks in the match against Idaho State were:

SCOUTING THE AGGIES:
This will be the first meeting between Denver and Texas A&M.

WHAT'S NEXT:
Denver will remain in the state of Texas to close the week with a meeting at Lamar on Sunday, August 25, at 7 p.m. CT/6 p.m. MT.
