DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team will welcome
Natali Jaiani for the 2024-25 season, head coach
Paul Wardlaw announced on Monday.
Jaiani signed her National Letter of Intent to join the team for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
From Tbilisi, Georgia, Jaiani has played for the Georgian national team and achieved a career-best WTA ranking of No. 1,227 in May 2023. She has collected multiple main-draw wins at ITF tournaments across her home country of Georgia in 2023 and 2024. In doubles, she advanced to the quarterfinals of two ITF W15 tournaments in the last year.
During her junior career, she was the singles runner-up at the ITF J30 Tbilisi tournaments in May and July 2023, and added two semifinal doubles runs at ITF tournaments in Tbilisi in 2023.
Jaiani will be one of four newcomers to the Denver roster in 2024-25, joining junior transfers
Hana Bečirovič Novak (previously at Long Beach State) and
Marley Lambert (previously at Michigan State), and fellow freshman
Natalie Cinková.
