DENVER – A limited amount of student tickets for the 2024-25 Denver hockey season will be available this weekend at Hockey Night Lights, hosted by the DU Programming Board.
The event takes place on the north lawn of the Ritchie Center starting on Friday, Sept. 27. Students can check in starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, and they must be in line to receive a golden ticket—their access to every home game this season—when they go on sale on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 8 a.m.
The University of Denver Athletics department and DU Programming Board has organized several events throughout the afternoon and evening to help students pass the time, including lawn games and free food from Raising Cane's, Snarfs and Pizza Hut (while supplies last). There will also be several giveaways and prizes raffled throughout the night courtesy of DU Athletic partners.
Attendees can also participate in intramural and recreational games on Peter Barton Lacrosse Field for prizes, sponsored by DU Recreation. There is also a student skate on the Magness Arena ice from 7-9 p.m., and a movie will be shown on the lawn afterward.
Student are encouraged to bring cold-weather clothing.
