DENVER, CO --The Denver volleyball team battled, but could not overcome a two set deficit and ultimately fell to the South Dakota State Jackrabbits on Saturday in Hamilton Gymnasium.
The loss dropped Denver's record to 5-7 overall and 0-2 in Summit League play.
The Pioneers offense was paced by Cassie Davis, who finished with 19 kills on the day while accumulating a hitting percentage of .293, and by Molly Mirabelli, who had 11. DU got 12 digs from Emersen Werger to lead them defensively.
