DENVER - The University of Denver men's golf team will open its spring season at the Vaqueros Intercollegiate in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.

The Pioneers will play a three-day, 54-hole tournament at the par-72, 6,701-yard Playa Paraiso Golf Club. 

In addition to Denver, the 15-tea field includes UTRGV, UTEP, Western Carolina, UTSA, Louisiana-Monroe, SMU, UT Arlington, Seton Hall, Wichita State, California Baptist, Lamar, North Texas, Northern Colorado and Abilene Christian.
