FARGO, N.D. -- The Denver Pioneers battled but ultimately fell to North Dakota State in straight sets (20-25, 22-25, 23-25) on Saturday afternoon in Fargo, North Dakota.
LEADERS:
Emma Mirabelli led the Pioneers' offense with a career-high 10 kills.
Ava Reynolds and
Jamia Johnson each added eight.
Ilayda Eren made 20 assists and
Izzy Rawlings chipped in 15.
Madison Winkler added 19 digs.
The Pioneers battled through all three sets, holding the lead early but unable to maintain the momentum throughout.
