SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – University of Denver women's swimming and diving's
Samantha Synsvoll and
Savanna Berry were named this week's Kwik Star Summit League Peak Performers of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Synsvoll earned her third event title in as many meets of her freshman season on Friday, and her first in the 200 free. She led Denver's swimmers in the double dual at Colorado State and Colorado Mesa, taking first in the 10-swimmer field in the 200 with a time of 1:51.75. Synsvoll also finished third in the 200 IM (2:09.18) and fourth in the 200 back (2:05.77).
Berry earned her second event win of the campaign on the 1-meter board with a score of 263.80. She then followed that up with a third-place finish on the 3-meter board, tallying a score of 249.90. The weekly award was Berry's second of the season and the fourth of her career.

Denver will leave the state for the first time next weekend. Denver's women will head to Washington State on Friday (4 p.m. MT) and Idaho on Saturday (3 p.m. MT), while the Denver men travel to Cal Baptist for a two-day double dual with Cal Baptist and UCSB.
