DENVER – The University of Denver men's basketball program has been named the Field of 68 Mid Major Team of the Week, the network announced on Monday morning.
Behind Zane Nelson's 22 points off the bench, the Pioneers earned their first win over Colorado State in 12 seasons, just the second road win in the series in Denver's modern DI era. In addition to Nelson, Carson Johnson, Julius Rollins and Logan Kinsey all finished in double figures.
Denver is back in action tonight at nationally-ranked Arizona on CBS Sports Network (8:30 p.m. MT).
