Five Denver Women’s Tennis Players End 2025 with ITA Rankings

DENVER – Five University of Denver women's tennis players ended the 2025 fall season with national ITA singles or doubles, the ITA announced on Tuesday.

In the final ITA Singles & Doubles Rankings released for 2025, senior Louise Wikander comes in at No. 79 in singles while the pairings of senior Zoe Adkins and freshman Ruby Hansen, and redshirt freshmen Natali Jaiani and Remy Nguyen sit at No. 79 and tied for No. 82, respectively.

Wikander became the eighth Denver player to earn a spot in the NCAA Division I Singles Tennis Championship field after winning the 2025 ITA Mountain Regional singles title this fall. She went 9-4 in singles in the fall season, topped with a win over No. 37 Emma Kamper from Utah in the ITA Mountain Regional singles final. Of her four losses, two were to fellow nationally-ranked players.

Adkins and Hansen teamed up at the Bedford Cup in the Rockies, hosted by Air Force, to start the season and went a perfect 4-0 during the tournament. By the end of the fall, Adkins had played to a 9-3 doubles record while playing with five different teammates while Hansen finished 9-4 and played with three different partners.

Jaiani and Nguyen also finished the fall campaign with a perfect record together, going 5-0 across two different tournaments: the Bedford Cup and the Colorado Cup. Nguyen had Denver's best doubles record over the fall, going 10-3 and partnering with three different teammates. Jaiani finished 5-4 with three different partners as well.

This is Wikander's first time holding an ITA national singles ranking, though she held a preseason doubles ranking in 2025. These are the first ITA rankings for Adkins, Hansen, Jaiani and Nguyen.

The ITA Preseason Rankings feature the top 125 singles players and 90 doubles teams in the country based on performance during the 2025 fall season.

The 2025-26 University of Denver women's tennis team will resume play in January during the spring dual season. The team's schedule will be announced in the coming days.
