MINNEAPOLIS – The University of Denver men's and women's swimming and diving programs wrapped up night two of the 2025 Minnesota Invite on Friday at the Jean K Freeman Aquatic Center.

Denver's women opened the second night of competition with a fifth-place finish in the women's 200 medley relay as the group of
Ali Beay,
Tenaya Winter,
Julia Saxman and
Angie Wyand combined for a time of 1:41.02. The Pioneer men's relay of
Quinn Collins,
Kito Campbell,
Hamish McLellan and
Matija Pantic turned in a time of 1:28.08 en-route to a sixth-place finish.
After recording the eighth-fastest time in program history on Friday morning,
Julia Saxman shaved 0.07 seconds off her time in the 100 fly on Friday night to move up to seventh in Denver's Division I history with a 53.69 to ultimately take 10
th in the event.
Fresh off his school record this morning,
Hamish McLellan reached the men's 100 fly final wall in 46.97 on Friday night, 0.05 seconds slower than his school-record time in the prelims, but he did move up two spots to sixth on the timing board Friday to earn quality points for the Denver men.
Sabrina Rachjaibun improved on her prelim time by exactly a second on Friday to take seventh in the 400 IM.
Samantha Synsvoll picked up two spots off her prelims finish this morning to take 12
th with a 4:21.63.
Mina Ada Solaker finished 14
th in 4:22.99 and
Lilly Zippel was scored 15
th in a time of 4:26.63.
Denver had three men's swimmers in the 400 IM on Friday.
Nico Morton led the trio, dropping 1.3 seconds off his prelims time to turn in a 3:52.80 and take 10
th.
Gabe Jones grabbed 13
th in 3:55.58 and
Cota Clise finished 15
th in 3:58.47.
Back to freestyle,
Izzy Burton finished 16
th in the 200 on Friday night in 1:51.45, while on the men's side
Pierce Bickerton took 11
th in 1:38.00 and
Dylan Mes finished 13
th with a time of 1:38.38.
Peyton Mullowney led Denver's two swimmers in the 100 breast finals on Friday, reaching the wall in 12
th in the event with a 1:03.92.
Zoe Lynch also improved on her prelims time from this morning, taking 16
th in 1:05.95.
After turning in the second-fastest time in program history on Friday morning, junior
Kito Campbell was just 0.04 slower on Friday night, keeping his fifth-place qualifying spot in the finals with a 52.95.
Sam Baker finished 15
th in 58.66 and
Thomas Truter took 16
th in 59.20.
Beay swam in the women's 100 back A-Final, taking eighth in 54.71 in the Friday night session.
Darian Koler improved a spot from the morning, finishing 15
th with a time of 55.73.
Collins and
Liam Simmons finished 13
th and 14
th in the men's 100 back, finishing in times of 48.81 and 48.89, respectively.
The swimming portion of Friday ended with the 800 free relay. DU's men finished third when Mes, Bickerton,
Kurt Owens and Pantic turned in a 6:38.44.
In diving,
Dakotah Parker backed up his NCAA Zone Cut on Friday morning with a sixth-place finish in the 1-meter finals, scoring 292.25.
Trip Gregory took seventh with a score of 287.60.
