Walsh Earns Recognition from Silver Waves Media

Pioneer first-year assistant Curran Walsh was one of 73 young coaches in the country to be selected for the 2025 Silver Waves Media Next Up Power Lunch

DENVER – University of Denver men's basketball first-year assistant coach Curran Walsh has been selected for the 2025 Silver Waves Media Next Up Power Lunch that is set to take place on April 3 in San Antonio, Texas.

Prior to arriving on the DU campus in June, Walsh spent three seasons at the University of Utah as the program's Director of Operations, two seasons as the Director of Player Development at Utah State and a pair of seasons as a graduate manager at Loyola Marymount University.

In his time with the Utes, Utah went from under .500 in the year before his arrival and in his first season to 17-15 in 2022-23 and 22-15 with a trip to Indianapolis for the NIT Semifinals last season.
