IOWA CITY – The University of Denver men's and women's swimming and diving programs completed their 11
th sweep of the conference titles in 12 years in the league, winning both trophies at the 2025 Summit League Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday night inside the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center on the campus of the University of Iowa.
Denver's women have now won 12-straight Summit League Swimming and Diving Championships since the Pioneers joined the league ahead of the 2014 meet, while the men's program has claimed 11 of the 12 possible trophies in the league.
In total, Denver won 33 events (of 42), earned 16 NCAA cuts this week and set 21 new personal bests that cracked into the top-10 times in the program's history for the event.

Event by Event Recap:
Saturday night's finals session began with the men's and women's mile races. On the women's side, freshman
Paige Reilly won her first mile championship with a 16:44.23. Two-time defending champion
Nika Spehar earned the final podium spot with her 17:01.55.
Denver's men had five of the eight swimmers in Saturday night's timed final.
Joseph Hancock earned his third career podium in the event and earned his first trip to the top step at the Summit League Championships on Saturday night with a 15:09.03.
Kieran Watson and
Finn Holdredge made it a podium sweep for the Pios with times of 15:13.62 and 15:28.10, respectively. Watson's time was good enough for his second NCAA B Standard in as many years in the event, while Holdredge's personal best sits 10
th in Denver's history.
Max O'Neil took fifth in 15:35.87 and
Will Melsha reached the final wall in sixth in 15:51.48.
Mina Ada Solaker earned her first career win in the 200 back to lead a group of five swimmers that qualified for the finals session on Saturday.
Darian Koler finished third in 2:00.51,
Lilly Zippel took sixth in 2:01.83 and
Haley Chesno grabbed seventh (2:02.14) to round out the Pioneers in the A-Final. In a quick turnaround after the mile,
Nika Spehar finished 15
th overall in 2:06.17.
Denver's first multi-winner of the night saw
Dylan Wright win this third-straight 200 back league title with a 1:42.52, an NCAA B Standard.
Quinn Collins finished fifth in 1:47.86 to round out Denver's swimmers in the A-Final.
Noah Laird won the B-Final with a time of 1:47.48,
Dylan Mes clocked in at 1:49.32 to finish 11
th and
Liam Simmons took 13
th in 1:50.22.
Ines Marin led a trio of Pioneers that finished 3-5 in the women's 100 free, reaching the wall in 50.21.
Kali Metuzals took fourth in 50.32 and
Angie Wyand grabbed fifth with a time of 50.95.
Izzy Burton won the B-Final in a time of 51.48,
Megan Lucyshyn finished second in the B-Final and 10
th overall in 51.48 and
Tenaya Winter finished 11
th overall in 51.87.
Frank Tirone completed his weekend sprint free sweep with a 44.02 in the 100 free.
Hamish McLellan took second with a time of 44.32 to complete the Denver 1-2.
Another four-peat was captured by
Jessica Maeda on Saturday night, her third of the Championship. Maeda clocked in at 2:11.46 to start a Denver 1-2 in the 200 breast that also included a 2:13.53 from
Peyton Mullowney. Mullowney's time was her personal best and kept her in sixth in Denver's history.
Zoe Lynch also swam in the A-Final, taking sixth in 2:19.64.
Marco Nosack earned his first 200 breast title since his freshman season with a 1:57.54 in the event.
Nico Morton rounded out the podium places with a 1:59.77 and
Luca Foord took fifth in 2:00.04.
Mia Moulden won her third career 200 fly title on Saturday, turning in a time of 2:00.38.
Sabrina Rachjaibun and
Daniela Alfaro completed a Denver podium sweep with times of 2:01.08 and 2:02.09, respectively. Rachjaibun's time was a personal best, and she stayed in 10
th in Denver's history.
Denver completed another weekend sweep, this time in the men's 200 fly as
Brandon Chapman won his third career title in the event with a time 1:45.69.
Ian O'Neil clocked in at 1:48.64 to finish fourth and
Max O'Neil took eighth in 1:53.43.
To the break for diving before the final relays of the weekend,
Zyad Morsy ran away with the men's 3-meter dive to lead a Pioneer podium sweep in the event. Morsy scored a 371.25,
Nathan Cox earned a 321.50 to take second and
Colin Breuer finished third with a combined score of 310.85. Cox's score was an NCAA Zone Cut.
Rounding out the weekend, Denver's women's 400 free relay finished in second when the quartet of Marin, Metuzals, Burton and Wyand combined for a time of 3:22.04. The men won the final race of the weekend, taking the 400 free relay when Tirone, Pantic, McLellan, Chapman combined for a time of 2:56.17.
