SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The University of Denver men's and women's swimming and diving programs completed a sweep of the 2025 Summit League Swimming and Diving postseason awards after taking both of the conference championships in February in Iowa City.

On the women's side,
Jessica Maeda was voted the Summit League Women's Swimmer of the Year by the head coaches, while
Kaitlin Calvery was tabbed the Summit League Women's Diver of the Year.
Dylan Wright earned men's swimmer of the year honors, while
Zyad Morsy claimed the Summit League Men's Diver of the Year award. Morsy earned his third-straight Summit League postseason award, while Maeda received her second-straight honor.

Maeda earned the women's swimmer of the year award for the second-straight year after earning Summit League Women's Swimmer of the Championship for the second-straight time in February. The Denver senior earned two NCAA B Standards and became the third-fastest swimmer in program history in the 100 breast with her personal best of 1:00.83. In this year's championships, Maeda won the 200 IM, the 100 breast and the 200 breast, while also swimming in Denver's wins in the 200 medley relay and the 400 medley relay. Maeda became the first women's swimmer in Summit League history to win all four league championships in a career in three different individual events, doing so in the 100 breast, 200 breast and 200 IM. In total, Maeda earned 20 gold medals in her four-year career at the Summit League Championships.

Calvery earned All-Summit League honors in the one-meter, three-meter and team diving event this season after finishing second and third on the two boards respectively, while leading the Pioneers to a second-place finish in the team event. During the regular season, Calvery earned three Summit League Peak Performer of the Week honors, two in the fall and one in January. At the 2025 NCAA Zone E Championships last month, Calvery led the Pioneers with a 24
th-place finish on the one-meter board before taking 51
st on the three-meter board. Calvery was fourth on the Pioneers overall in dual meet scoring, leading the Denver divers with 71 points. The junior also led Denver's divers in all-meet scoring with 136 points.

The 2022 Summit League Men's Championship MVP and 2022 Summit League Newcomer of the Year, Wright earned his first postseason award from the league after leading the Pioneers in both dual meet points (98) and all-meet points (303). Wright earned an NCAA B Standard in the 200 back, an event he ranked 99
th in the country in with a 1:42.52. The Denver senior won the 200 back, finished third in the 100 back and was a part of the 200 medley and 800 free winning relays at the 2025 Summit League Championships. Wright led the Pioneers in both backstroke events throughout the entire season.

Morsy earned his third-consecutive Summit League Men's Diver of the Year award after taking his second-straight championship award in February. The Denver senior earned NCAA cuts on all three boards, and took 11
th on the one-meter board and 20
th on the three-meter board at the 2025 NCAA Zone E Championships in Federal Way, Washington. During the season, Morsy became the second-best diver in program history on the one-meter board with a 371.25 in the finals of the 2025 Summit League Championships. Morsy was a seven-time Summit League Peak Performer of the Week this season and led Denver divers in both dual points (69) and all-meet points (165). In the 2025 league championships, Morsy won both springboards and was a part of Denver's winning team diving event.
