WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- The University of Denver women's golf team earned a runner-up finish at the Boilermaker Spring Classic at the Ackerman-Allen Golf Course in West Indiana this week.
Illinois earned the team title at 11-over, followed by Denver at 12-over and Cincinnati at 17-over to close out the top three.
Clara Gestsdottir recorded rounds of 69-70-71 to earn a individual runner-up finish. The senior led the field in par-4 scoring and total birdies with 17.
