CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - The University of Denver women's golf team was recognized for its success on the course and in the classroom, having four players named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars Team.
Denver's success in the classroom was highlighted by four student athletes in
Emma Bryant,
Clara Gestsdottir,
Maren Farbu and
Logan Hale.Â
The criteria for being selected to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most rigorous in college athletics, requiring a minimum 3.50 GPA, be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the season and have played in 50% of regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
The Pioneers' are coming off capturing their sixth-consecutive Summit League title and 23rd-straight NCAA Regionals appearance.
