DENVER – The University of Denver men's basketball program has signed Pima CC transfer center Gabe Oldham to its 2025-26 roster, first-year head coach Tim Bergstraser announced on Thursday.
"We are excited to have such a hard-working forward coming to the program," Bergstraser said. "Gabe has a non-stop motor with great mobility and athleticism. He will bring a great physical presence to our roster. He's a proven winner and we can't wait to coach him."
Oldham recently completed his second season at Pima CC, playing in 60 games, and making 55 starts for the Aztecs. During his time in Tucson, Oldham averaged 13.0 points and 8.8 rebounds in his two seasons. In 2024-25, Oldham played in 32 games for a team that finished 35-1, claiming third place in the NJCAA Division II Tournament. Oldham averaged 13 points per game, shooting 63.4% from the floor and pulling down 9.4 rebounds per game, including 3.8 offensive boards per game.
The incoming Denver center finished in double figures in 20 games in his freshman campaign, including seven games with 20 or more points. Oldham had a season-high 27 points on 11-of-12 shooting in a 128-82 win over Dallas College Eastfield on November 9. In his latest season, Oldham finished double figures in 25 games, including five 20+ point games and a career-high 28 points on 13-of-17 shooting.
Oldham is the seventh new Pioneer to join the roster since Bergstraser took over as head coach in April, joining an MSUM quartet of transfers in Corleone Dandridge, Shaun Wysocki, Carson Johnson and Logan Kinsey, Missouri Western State transfer Zane Nelson, and former Western Illinois and Kent State guard Julius Rollins announced in May.
