DENVER – The University of Denver men's and women's swimming and diving programs have set their 2025-26 schedules, head coach
Alicia Hicken-Franklin announced on Wednesday.
Denver will have eight home dates in 2025-26, beginning with the season opener on October 3 when the Pioneers host the 2025 Front Range Invite.
This year's Front Range Invite is a two-day event that begins on October 3 at 4 p.m., and wraps up with a morning session at 11 a.m. MT on October 4.
Following the opening meet, Denver will head down to the Air Force Academy for a blockbuster meet that includes the host Falcons, Wyoming and LSU. That two-day meet will run October 17-18.
The following week, the women's program will head up I-25 north to take on Colorado State and Colorado Mesa at EPIC in Fort Collins.
Denver's men's and women's programs will end October with trips out west. The Denver women will head to Washington State (Oct. 31) and Idaho (Nov. 1) for a pair of dual meets, while the men travel to Cal Baptist for a two-day meet that also includes UCSB.
During a month off that includes the student-athletes' final exams, Denver will prepare for the 2025 Minnesota Invite that runs December 4-6 in Minneapolis. The Pioneers will then head south as select swimmers will participate in the 2025 CSCAA Open Water National Championships in Sarasota, Florida.
Denver opens the New Year at home with four-straight meets in El Pomar Natatorium. DU will host Colorado Mines to open up 2026 on January 2. A week later (Jan. 9), Denver's women host New Mexico, while the men welcome Utah to the Mile High City. The following morning (Jan. 10), both Denver programs welcome BYU to El Pomar. Senior Day in 2026 will take place on January 17 when the Pioneers host Wyoming and Colorado Mesa to end the four-meet homestand.
Following a week off, Denver returns to Colorado Springs for the Air Force Diving Invite (Jan. 29-31) and the annual Sprint Eliminator (Jan. 31).
The Pioneers will close out the regular season with the two-day (Feb. 6-7) First Chance Invitational at El Pomar Natatorium.
Denver will look to repeat as Summit League champions once more when the league travels to Iowa City for its annual meet that will run February 18-21.
