DENVER – The University of Denver women's basketball program has completed its 2025-26 roster with the signing of Natalia Fanjul, head coach Doshia Woods announced on Tuesday.

"Natalia is a versatile combo guard that will bring an offensive threat to our back court," Woods said. "Her size, length, and skill will allow her to impact the game on both ends of the floor. She can create her own shot, extending her range to the 3pt line as well as being physical at the rim. We are thrilled to add Natalia to our Pioneer family"

Fanjul averaged 20 minutes per game in her senior season and appeared in 21 games as a starter, the most in the senior category. She led her team to regular season U17 titles in regular and 3x3 competition in Catalonia in 2024.

"Natalia completes our 25-26 roster, we appreciate Adria of Elite Sports Academy assisting us with recruiting Laia, Ana, Paula, and now Natalia who complete our Spanish connection," Woods said. "Our focus when completing this roster was to add size and versatility that will allow us to play more balance, up-tempo style of basketball. In addition to Laia, Ana, Paula, Natalia, we will add Teodora Simoncevic (Serbia) to add an international flair to our roster this season."
