- DU is 9-2-1 in Summit League openers, going 4-1-1 when the first match was held on the road including a 3-1 win at Kansas City in last season's League opener.

- In the last four League-opening matches held on the road, DU has outscored opponents, 7-2, and achieved a 3-0-1 record.
- DU is seeking its fifth Summit League title in 2025 and its ninth regular-season crown since joining the League in 2013-14.
- DU is coming off a rare bye week ahead of starting Summit League play this week.
- Denver's 10-day break between regular-season matches is the second longest in the program's NCAA Division I history and only the fourth time to have a non-traditional break in the regular season (also: October 11-19, 1998; October 11-21, 1999; September 10-17, 2001).
- Denver is the Summit League's highest-ranked team in the current NCAA RPI at No. 64. Only one other team joins DU in the top 100 (South Dakota State at No. 80).
- In its non-conference schedule, DU faced four teams that are currently in the top 50 of the NCAA RPI, earning a 0-0 draw against No. 13 Baylor – despite playing down to 10 women for most of the match – and a 2-1 win against No. 35 Colorado State.
SCOUTING THE FIGHTING HAWKS:
This will be the 10
th meeting between Denver and North Dakota with DU holding a 7-0-2 record thus far. After winning the first seven meetings, DU has settled for ties in the last two matches against UND including a scoreless draw last season at home. The teams also played to a 3-3 draw in Denver's last trip to Grand Forks on October 22, 2023.
North Dakota enters Summit League play with a 6-3-1 non-conference record, ending with a 1-0 win at Idaho State on September 14. Like Denver, UND is coming off a bye week following its non-conference slate. A year ago, the Fighting Hawks went 0-4-4 in Summit League play.
