DENVER -- Sophomore golfer Maren Farbu was named KwikStar Summit League Golfer of the Week after a top-20 finish at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic this week.

The honor marks the first of Farbu's career. She shot a bogey-free final round en route to her first career under-par tournament performance with rounds of 72-72-71.

Farbu and the Pioneers are a back in action next week at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate from Oct. 3-5 at the University of Denver Golf Club at Highlands Ranch.
