Rowan LaPiano, allowing her to split defenders and get behind the UND backline before putting away her second career game winner.

- Following Thursday's Summit League opener, Denver is now 91-16-15 all-time in League play including 43-10-7 on the road.
- DU is now 10-2-1 in Summit League openers, going 5-1-1 when the first match was held on the road.

- Tate and LaPiano made it 13 Pioneers with at least one point this year after connecting on the game winner at UND.
- Redshirt junior Alina Santos collected her third clean sheet of 2025 and the fifth of her career with Thursday's win at North Dakota.
- DU is seeking its fifth Summit League title in 2025 and its ninth regular-season crown since joining the League in 2013-14.
SCOUTING THE BISON:
Denver holds a 13-2-1 record against North Dakota State including 4-1-1 when playing in Fargo. A season ago, DU claimed a 2-1 win at home over the Bison, rallying from a goal down to second the win off a brace from
Ella Frost. DU's last trip to NDSU was October 19, 2023, in which the Bison finished with a 1-0 win.
North Dakota State fell, 0-1, in its Summit League opener against Omaha on Thursday. As was the case in Denver's last match, NDSU sat scoreless after the first 45 minutes but conceded the match's only goal in the 53
rd minute.
Leading the Bison so far in 2025 is Morgan Russman, last season's Summit League Offensive Player and Newcomer of the Year. The sophomore leads the team is goals (3), assists (4) and points (10). Hannah Stipp has been in goal for each NDSU match so far, making starts in all but one and tallying 28 saves.
