LONG BEACH, Calif. – The University of Denver women's tennis team hit the midway point of the Long Beach State Winter Invitational on Saturday and collected three more wins in singles.
Senior
Louise Wikander, sophomore
Natálie Cinková and freshman
Yunfei Cai all moved to 2-0 in singles on the weekend with their wins over Cal State Fullerton on Saturday. The three Pioneers have combined for only one set lost through the first two days of the tournament.
Freshman
Ruby Hansen and redshirt freshman
Remy Nguyen saw their first action of the weekend as well, teaming up in doubles and also filling out DU's singles lineup.
Denver expects to again shuffle its players for the third and final day of the tournament on Sunday, in what will be DU's final non-dual match day of the season.
