Denver Swimming and Diving Brings Home Three League Awards

The Pioneers have the weekend off before heading to Colorado Springs next week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.  – University of Denver women's swimmer Sabrina Rachjaibun, women's diver Savanna Berry and men's diver Colin Breuer have all been named Kwik Star Summit League Peak Performers of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

Rachjaibun led Denver to a 1-1 senior day double dual against Wyoming and Colorado Mesa on Saturday inside El Pomar Natatorium. The Denver junior won the women's 200 fly with a 2:02.21 and then later turned in a 4:19.87 to take both the event title and record the top time in the Summit League this season. Rachjaibun's award is her first of the season and the second of her career.

Berry turned in a pair of NCAA Zone Cuts once again this week, taking second in a 12-diver field in the women's 1-meter with her score of 268.70, and followed that up with a 290.55 in the women's 3-meter to also finish second. The junior's award was her third-straight, her fifth of the season and the seventh of her career.

Breuer finished fifth in a very competitive men's 1-meter with a 288.65 before winning the men's 3-meter dive with a season-best 339.60. The score moved Breuer up to seventh all time in Denver's Division I history for highest score on the 3-meter board. Breuer's award is his second of the season and of his career.

UP NEXT:
