GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- The University of Denver men's golf team earned a season-best third-place finish and the lowest 54-hole score under head Coach
Gary Bissell at the Loyola Intercollegiate this week at the Palm Valley Golf Course in Goodyear, Arizona.
The 837 54-hole score is the lowest 54-hole score since the Ka'anapali Invitational on Oct. 29-31, 2021 when Denver shot an 831 to finish sixth.
Richmond earned the team title at 34-under, followed by Loyola at 31-under and Denver rounding out the top three at 27-under. Carson Baez (Richmond) finished atop the individual leaderboard at 17-under, Luke Caldwell (UT Martin) finished second at 13-under and Rylan Shim (NC State) finished 12-under.

The Pioneers return to the course on March 8-10 at the Bandon Dunes Championship in Bandon, Oregon.
