DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team (8-5, 2-0 Summit) will host Davidson for its second consecutive home match at Denver Tennis Park on Friday, March 13, at 3 p.m. MT.
Admission and parking are free at Denver Tennis Park for matches all season long.
LAST TIME OUT:
Denver moved to 2-0 in Summit League play with a 6-1 win against South Dakota on March 7. DU eased its way to the doubles point, dropping only two combined games in the two clinching matches, and then followed it up with a five consecutive singles matches won including three in straight sets.
Senior
Marley Lambert clinched the dual for DU at No. 2 singles with just five games lost. Fellow seniors
Zoe Adkins and
Hana Bečirovič Novak also earned wins, Adkins doing so from a set down and Bečirovič Novak in a match tiebreak.
USD's only point came in a 10-point match tiebreak at the top singles match.
SERIES HISTORY:
Davidson: This will be the first meeting between Denver and Davidson.
