DENVER – The University of Denver men's and women's swimming programs began action in the 2026 CSCAA National Invitational Championships at the FAST Facility in Ocala, Florida.
 
Julia Saxman highlighted the opening morning of the national competition by taking the top spot in the women's 50 fly prelims with a time of 23.90. Hamish McLellan finished third in the men's 50 fly with a 21.38 and Pierce Bickerton took seventh in the men's 500 free prelims in 4:28.64.
 
In addition to Denver's three A-Finals qualifiers, Denver had four student-athletes punch tickets to tonight's B-Finals. Sabrina Rachjaibun took 16^th in the women's 500 free with a time of 4:53.72, Nico Morton finished 16^th  in the men's 200 IM, reaching the wall in 1:50.15, Kito Campbell finished 15^th in the men's 50 breast prelims in 25.06 and McLellan clocked in at 20.30 in the 50 free to take 14^th.
