Dawick Nets OT Winner for Toronto in #ProPios Week 16

Brendan Bomberry send the game to OT for Halifax before former Pioneer Josh Dawick responded with the winner in overtime

DENVER – Former University of Denver men's lacrosse players were back in action around North America last weekend for Week 16 of the 2026 NLL season.  
 
In the opening #ProPios game of the weekend, Brendan Bomberry scored with 22 seconds to play in regulation before Josh Dawick provided the overtime winner for Toronto with 9:02 to go in the extra session. Dawick finished with a hat trick, Bomberry had two goals and two assists and Mark Matthews had a goal and three assists in a winning effort for the Rock.
 
Later that night, Alex Simmons posted a seven-point night on four goals and three assists to lead Oshawa to its second-straight win by a count of 11-6. Ethan Walker added a goal and three helpers.
 
Jack Hannah (3-2-5) and Tyler Pace (1-5-6) also turned in big weekends for their respective teams.
