DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team (9-5, 2-0 Summit) returns from a bye week to start a four-match road trip beginning with two duals hosted by Memphis on March 25-27.
 
First up, Denver will take on host Memphis on Wednesday, March 25, at 5 p.m. CT/4 p.m. MT. DU will then wrap up the week with a neutral-site match against Xavier on Friday, March 27, at 12 p.m. CT/11 a.m. MT.
 
LAST TIME OUT:
Denver last took the court on March 13, hosting Davidson in a 5-2 win at Denver Tennis Park. The doubles squad won the point with just three combined games lost across the clinching matches. In singles, senior Louise Wikander also lost just three games in her straight-sets win at the No. 1 spot, and freshman Yunfei Cai lost one fewer game than Wikander with a 6-2 6-0 win as well. Sophomore Natálie Cinková clinched the dual at No. 4 singles, giving Denver a third win in straight sets on the day.
 
SERIES HISTORY:
Memphis: This will be just the second meeting between Denver and Memphis. The two teams first met on January 22, 2016, also at Memphis in what ended as a 4-2 DU win.
 
Xavier: This will be the first meeting between Denver and Xavier.
