DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team (9-5, 2-0 Summit) is ranked No. 59 the ITA Computerized Rankings that were released on Tuesday.
Denver is coming off a bye week and has not taken to the court since the last team rankings were released on March 17. In DU's last match, the Pioneers played to a 5-2 win against Davidson on March 13.
So far in 2026, Denver has faced six teams that currently appear in the ITA team rankings, highlighted by wins over now-No. 39 Arizona and now-No. 61 Colorado. Four of DU's five losses this season have come against ranked teams: No. 16 Arizona State, No. 33 Utah, No. 36 BYU and No. 53 Oregon.
This is the fifth time Denver has appeared in the ITA team rankings this season and its third in as many weeks.
The ITA Division I Women's Collegiate Tennis Rankings recognize the top 75 teams (out of 313), as well as the top 125 singles players and top 60 doubles teams at the NCAA Division I level. Team rankings are issued weekly while singles and doubles rankings are issued bi-weekly through March before also being issued weekly in April.
The University of Denver women's tennis team plays twice in three days in Memphis, starting with a dual at host Memphis on Wednesday, March 25, followed by a neutral-site match against Xavier on Friday, March 27.
