Manning Named Tewaaraton Award Nominee

The sophomore goalie is one of 25 student-athletes still up for the 2026 Tewaaraton Award

DENVER – University of Denver sophomore goalie Grayson Manning has been named one of 25 nominees for the 2026 Tewaaraton Award, the foundation announced on Saturday afternoon.

Manning entered the weekend leading the country in save percentage at 61%, while ranking eighth in goals against average (8.84) and ninth in saves per game (13.09). The winning goalie in the 2025 Under-20 World Games has finished in double digits in saves in each of the last 10 games, highlighted by a career-high 20 saves in Denver's one-goal win at Utah on February 14 and 17 saves at Villanova on April 4.

The Victoria, B.C., native has allowed Denver opponents into double digits in goals just three times in 2026.

UP NEXT: Denver will wrap-up its regular season on Friday night when the Pioneers welcome Marquette to Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium. Opening faceoff is set for 6 p.m. MT, and the game will be broadcast on ESPN+ and 104.3 The Fan HD3.
