DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team (14-7, 6-0 Summit) is ranked No. 66 the ITA Computerized Rankings that were released on Tuesday.
Denver closed out the 2026 regular season with a 5-2 win at Omaha on April 18. With the win, DU won its 12
th consecutive Summit League regular-season title and secured a perfect 71-0 record in league duals in what was Denver's final regular-season match as a member of the Summit League.
During the 2026 regular season, Denver faced six teams that currently appear in the ITA team rankings, highlighted by wins over now-No. 26 Arizona and now-No. 73 Colorado. Four of DU's seven losses this season have come against ranked teams: No. 15 Arizona State, No. 36 BYU, No. 38 Utah and No. 71 Oregon.
This is the ninth time Denver has appeared in the ITA team rankings this season and its seventh in as many weeks.
The ITA Division I Women's Collegiate Tennis Rankings recognize the top 75 teams (out of 313), as well as the top 125 singles players and top 60 doubles teams at the NCAA Division I level. Beginning this week, rankings for teams, singles player and doubles teams will be released on a weekly basis until the start of the NCAA tournament in May.
The University of Denver women's tennis team is the top seed for the 2026 Summit League Women's Tennis Championships and will face No. 4-seeded Oral Roberts in the semifinals on Friday, April 24, at 9 a.m. CT/8 a.m. MT.
