DENVER – Two University of Denver women's tennis players were named to the 2026 Summit League Women's Tennis Academic All-League Team, the Summit League announced on Tuesday.
Natálie Cinková and
Louise Wikander picked up Academic All-League Team recognition, Cinková for the first time and Wikander for the second time in her career.
Cinková is majoring in business management with a marketing minor and holds a 3.84 GPA. The sophomore from Agno, Switzerland, split time across the Nos. 3 and 4 singles spots and led the team with 27 singles wins on the year while adding 21 doubles victories. In Summit League play, she was 5-1 in singles and 4-1 in doubles, helping earn her a spot on the All-Summit League Team.
Wikander is completing her bachelor's degree in psychology and kinesiology with a minor in business with a 3.81 GPA. DU's No. 1 singles player racked up a 25-10 overall record – while also advancing to the NCAA National Championships in singles – and grabbed 21 more wins in doubles. A senior from Helsingborg, Sweden, she picked up All-Summit League honors after going 5-1 in singles and 4-1 in league play as well.
The Summit League Academic All-League Team recognizes six student-athletes as determined by a vote of sports information directors and faculty athletic representatives at each of the league's institutions. Nominated student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30, have completed at least one full academic year at their current institution and participated in at least 50 percent of their team's competitions. Freshmen and first-year transfers are not eligible.
Together, Cinková and Wikander made Denver the only team with multiple honorees on this year's Academic All-League Team. With their two awards for 2026, DU now has 17 Academic All-League honorees in total.
The University of Denver women's tennis team completed a perfect 71-0 record against Summit League opponents on its way to winning a 12
th consecutive league championship in 2026 in what was its final season as a member of the Summit League. On July 1, the University of Denver will become a member of the West Coast Conference.
