Bryant and Zingler Lead Pioneers on Day 1 of Colorado Women’s Open

Former Pioneer Emma Bryant and junior Kaitlin Zingler shot an even-par 72 in the opening round of the three-round event

GREEN VALLEY RANCH, Colo. – The University of Denver women's golf program had six current and former players in action on Wednesday in the opening round of the 2026 Colorado Women's Open at the Green Valley Ranch Golf Club.

Former Pioneer and three-time All-Summit League selection Emma Bryant shot an even-par 72, finding herself tied with current Pioneer and rising senior Kaitlin Zingler.

A classmate of Zingler's Anna Neumayer was a shot behind the Pioneer duo in the opening round and sits in a tie for 24^th overall after her one-over 73.
