Denver Women’s Basketball Unveils 2027 WCC Schedule

DENVER – The University of Denver women's basketball program announced its 2026-27 WCC schedule on Tuesday, setting the stage for the Pioneers' first season in the West Coast Conference.
The 2026-27 campaign will also mark the return of head coach Erik Johnson, who begins his second chapter at the helm of the program after previously leading Denver from 2008-12.
The Pioneers open WCC play on Thursday, December 31, hosting Santa Clara before welcoming Pacific to Hamilton on January 2.
Denver then hits the road for its first conference road trip, traveling to Seattle on January 7 and Portland on January 9.
The Pioneers return home for a pair of matchups against Pepperdine and San Diego on January 14 and 16, respectively, before heading back to the West Coast to face Santa Clara on January 21 and Saint Mary's on January 23.
Denver returns to Hamilton for another two-game homestand, hosting Seattle on January 28 and Portland on January 30.
The Pioneers then begin a three-game road swing on February 4 at Loyola Marymount, followed by a matchup at San Diego on February 6 and a trip to Pepperdine on February 11.
Denver returns home to host San Francisco on February 13 before welcoming Loyola Marymount to Hamilton on February 18.
The Pioneers close out the regular season with three of their final four games on the road, traveling to Pacific on February 20 before hosting Saint Mary's on February 25. Denver then wraps up the regular season at San Francisco on February 27.
