Denver Women’s Basketball Announces 2026-27 Non-Conference Schedule

DENVER – The University of Denver women's basketball program announced its 2026-27 non-conference schedule on Monday, with the Pioneers set to play 14 games before beginning West Coast Conference play.
Denver will open the season on the road, traveling to Colorado Springs to take on Air Force on Monday, Nov. 2. The Pioneers will then return to Hamilton Gymnasium for their home opener against Lindenwood on Wednesday, Nov. 4, before making the trip to Ogden, Utah, to face Weber State on Nov. 7.
The Pioneers will return home to host in-state rival Colorado State on Nov. 10 before traveling to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to face LSU on Nov. 13.
Denver will return to Hamilton Gymnasium for a four-game homestand, hosting Regis on Nov. 16, Northern Colorado on Nov. 24, Colorado Christian on Nov. 30 and Colorado on Dec. 3.
The Pioneers will then head to Salt Lake City to take on Utah on Dec. 6 before returning home to face Nevada on Dec. 9.
Denver will close its non-conference schedule with a pair of road contests, traveling to California to face CSU Fullerton on Dec. 13 before heading to Kansas City, Missouri, to take on UMKC on Dec. 17.
The Pioneers will return to Hamilton Gymnasium for their final non-conference game, hosting Wyoming on Dec. 22.
The 2026-27 season marks the return of Erik Johnson to the Denver sidelines. Johnson returns for his second stint as head coach of the Pioneers after previously leading the program from 2008-12.
Denver will compete in the West Coast Conference for the first time in 2026-27, with conference play set to begin following the conclusion of the non-conference slate.
