Honors and Awards: 2021 and 2022 All-Summit League

2022: 12-4 in singles play, including 7-0 in the Summit League…4-1 on court five and 8-3 on court six, going 4-1 in Denver’s last 10 matches…10-5 in doubles play, going 6-1 on court two and 4-4 on court three…3-1 in doubles in Denver’s last 10 matches.

2021: 10-2 in singles play and a perfect 5-0 in Summit League play…Played all 12 of her decided singles matches on court six, and won each of her last five decisions…10-1 in doubles play, including a 9-1 mark on court three…Played eight of her doubles matches, including the last six, with Taylor Melville.

2020: 3-2 in singles play, playing all five of her matches on the No. 6 court...Won her final three singles matches, including one in Summit League play...7-6 in doubles action, including 3-2 on court six...Played all but one of her doubles matches with partner Tatum Burger. 

2019: 4-6 in singles play, but a 3-2 mark on court five...8-6 in doubles action, playing 13 of her 14 decisions on court three...Played her 14 doubles matches with four different teammates. 

Before Denver: Participated in the USTA International Spring Championship, USTA Easter Bowl Championship and the Newport Beach ITF tournament...Nationally ranked No. 73 on the Babalot Recruiting List...

Personal: Daughter of Barry and Lori Nelson...Has one brother, Trey...Chose the University of Denver because she loved the friendly environment, coaches and teammates...Enjoys being outside, shopping and hanging with friends in her spare time...Has helped raise money and package food for underprivileged children...Named to the honor roll while attending the Arizona Connections Academy...
