2016-17:
One of Denver’s 16 Academic All-Conference Team members… Made two appearances against ASU the weekend of Jan. 7-8 (4/4 shots/saves, 7:14 MIN)… Second appearance (one save) got career GAA to below 2.00 and SV% to exactly .900.

2015-16:
Made career-high four saves in 16:39 of action on Dec. 12 vs. SCSU... Named to 2015-16 NCHC Academic All-Conference Team on Feb. 17.

2014-15:
Received NCHC Academic All-Conference recognition for having a cumulative GPA above 3.0... Also honored at 80th annual Student-Athlete Awards Banquet for his scholastic prowess.

2013-14:
Received NCHC Academic All-Conference recognition for having a cumulative GPA above 3.0... Appeared in two games for the Pioneers... Played 7:13 in relief and made one save on one shot.

Before Denver:
Played for the Bay State Breakers of the Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL) in 2012-13... Saw action in a total of 52 games while posting a 2.84 goals against average and .925 save percentage... Was an All-State selection in 2010 and 2011... Named Most Valuable Player of the Illinois State Championship in 2009... Was a member of state championship teams at New Trier (Ill.) High School in 2009 and 2011..

Personal:
The son of John and Libby... Has volunteered with the Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation… Has one brother, Doug... Attended New Trier (Ill.) High School... Chose Denver because of its campus and the great balance of academics and a traditionally strong hockey program... Hobbies include golf, skiing and lacrosse... Favorite athlete is Patrick Roy... Business major.
