Honors and Awards: Summit League Men's Swimmer of the Week (10/24/17).

2016-17 Internationals:
Finished sixth in the 100 Free (51.31) at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships…Qualified for the b-final in the 100 fly (56.47) before anchoring Canada’s 4X100 free relay to earn a third-place finish.

2016-17:
Did not compete, will use redshirt.

Before Denver:
Four-time member of the Canadian Junior National Team… Holds 18 provincial records in Canada… Represented Canada at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships and Junior World Championships.

Personal:
Born September 9, 1998 in Grand Prairie, Alberta… Son of Brian and Esmie Calkins… Has one brother, Nathan and one sister, Natasha. Chose the University of Denver because he liked the training environment and connected with the team…Enjoys photography.
