The University of Denver Hall of Fame has been established to formally recognize outstanding individual and team achievements and to preserve the heritage and tradition of the University’s intercollegiate athletics program. Those team and individual achievements worthy of admittance based on the established criteria shall be formally recognized with appropriate displays.
Previous Inductees
CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION: Eligibility for individuals or teams is five years from end of eligibility, departure from DU, or death.
Nominees must fit within one of the following criteria:

Nominees must fit within one of the following criteria:
- Former Student-Athletes who have brought recognition and prominence to the University and themselves by their athletics accomplishments as an undergraduate and/or post collegiate athletics career.
- Olympic Medalist – Individual or Team Sport
- Olympic Team Member (any country)
- World Record Holder/Recognized National Federation Mark
- NCAA All-American in a “primary” recognized poll – team sports
- NCAA Champion – individual sports
- Selection to a National Hall of Fame for his/her sport
- NCAA Final Four or team that finishes in the Top 10 nationally in a “primary” recognized poll
- Distinguished Letterwinners: Former Student-Athletes who have made major contributions to the University athletic program through personal time, effort, interest and through many years of continued service and/or have distinguished themselves as exceptional in their chosen field or endeavor.
- Life Time Achievement: Individuals, coaches, athletics officials, and other University officials who were not Letterwinners yet have rendered outstanding service, support, effort, and interest through many years of continued service.
