Robert "Bob" Willis begins his seventh year as Assistant Vice Chancellor of External Affairs for University of Denver Athletics & Recreation.

Before coming to Denver in 2007, Willis held senior level positions with Wells Fargo Bank and AT&T Broadband, and he also served as president of the Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce and vice president of the University of Colorado Foundation. Willis graduated from Colorado College in 1976 with a degree in liberal arts. He is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado and University of Oklahoma School of Banking. Willis serves on the following boards in the Denver metropolitan community: Wells Fargo Bank, Porter-Billups Leadership Academy, Urban League of Metropolitan Denver, and Shaka Franklin Foundation.

Willis is the father of three children: Skye, a 2010 graduate of Colorado State University; Brandon, a senior at Cherry Creek High School; and Payton, a junior at Cherry Creek High School.
