Attended Hays H.S. ... Led Hays to a 21-9 record and the 6A Boys State Basketball Tournament during his junior season ... Was named First Team All-District and received All-District Academic Honors ... Averaged 15 points and eight rebounds a game as a junior. Also ran cross country in high school.
