NHL: Selected by the Los Angeles Kings in Round 7 (198th Overall) of the 2024 NHL Draft.

2024-25: Led all DU freshmen in scoring with 11 goals and 10 assists for 21 points and was the only rookie to appear in all 44 contests for the Pioneers … Finished tied for sixth overall on the team in goals and ninth in points … Added 15 blocked shots, posted a +17 plus/minus rating and led Denver with an .186 shooting percentage … Took only two penalty minutes during the year, the only consistent player to achieve that ... Tied for fourth on the squad with three game-winning goals and also scored five power-play markers ... Made his NCAA debut on Oct. 5 at Alaska Anchorage and scored his first collegiate goal in his second game on Oct. 6 at UAA, achieving the feat on his 19th birthday... Went on a career-long eight-game point streak from Oct. 25- Nov. 16 (3g/5a), which included assists in three straight games from Oct. 25-Nov. 1 (0g/3a) … Picked up his first assist on Oct. 24 vs. Wisconsin … Tallied in back-to-back games on two occasions: Nov. 2-8 vs. Yale and Lindenwood and March 7-8 vs. Colorado College (2g/2a)... Recorded a career-high three points (2g/1a) and picked up his first career multi-goal and multi-point outing on Feb. 1 vs. Omaha ... Also tallied his first game-winning goal in the outing vs. Omaha ... Had an assist in Game 3 of the NCHC Quarterfinals vs. CC on March 16 … Made his NCAA Tournament debut on March 28 vs. Providence in the Regional Semifinals in Manchester, N.H. ... Scored his third career game-winning goal and took his only penalty of the season on March 30 vs. No. 1 Boston College in the NCAA Northeast Regional Final ... Invited to USA Hockey’s National Junior Evaluation Camp and Summer Showcase in July and August in preparation for the 2025 IIHF U.S. World Junior Championships, which was coached by Denver’s David Carle.

Before DU: Registered 60 points on 20 goals and 40 assists while serving as an alternate captain for the USHL Dubuque Fighting Saints in 2023-24 … Had five points (1g/4a) in 11 USHL Clark Cup Playoff games as the Fighting Saints finished runner-up … Overall, appeared in 114 USHL games over two season with Dubuque, totaling 94 points on 35 goals and 59 assists … Recognized as the 2024 USHL Scholar-Athlete of the Year and a member of the league’s 2023-24 All-Academic Team … Won bronze with Team USA at the World Jr. A Challenge in 2023 and was teammates with fellow DU classmate Tory Pitner on the squad … Had the most goals at the WJAC Tournament with eight while adding two assists to finish with 10 points in six games … Was a member of the Chicago Mission youth organization and played for the Mission at the 2018 Quebec International Pee-Wee Tournament.
 
Personal: Has two younger sisters… Grandfather played football at Northwestern … Uncle played baseball at Northwestern and was later in the MLB Houston Astros minor-league system … Graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 2024 … Wants to win NCAA and NCHC Championships at DU … Began playing hockey after the NHL Chicago Blackhawks won the 2010 Stanley Cup … Also enjoys playing golf and wake surfing and skiing … Majoring in business at DU … Would like to play professional hockey before later working in finance … Enjoys country music … Favorite movie is Remember the Titans … Is related to Abraham Lincoln … Also played baseball and soccer while growing up.
 
Why DU: “I chose Denver because of the school’s academics, hockey team and location. The coaches for the hockey team really help guys get to the next level, and they know how to win. The school offered the major that I wanted in business. I wanted to be close to a city, and Denver offered that.”
