Kavan Eubank

Kavan Eubank is in his third season with the Pioneers in 2022-23 as assistant coach.

Eubank helped with the development of a very young roster in 2021-22, leading to Denver taking runner-up honors at the Summit League Championship. 

The second-year assistant continued his work the the veteran players, leading Carson Griggs to making his first All-Summit League First Team selection. 

In year one with DU, Eubank helped Denver continue its run of postseason success, resulting the team's third straight Summit League Championship. The Pioneers posted a 289.6 scoring average, lowest in the Summit League. 

Eubank also helped with the continued play of Jackson Solem and Carson Griggs, as both earned All-Summit League honors. Solem picked up his second straight Summit League Player of the Year awared while working with Eubank. 

Eubank previously came Denver after spending last two years at Boise State. While with the Broncos, helped improve the program, going from 90th in the country to 46th according to Golfstat rankings, resulting in the first postseason selection based on team ranking. He helped coach two players to All-Mountain West selections in Hugo Townsend and Skyler Eubank, with Townsend being selected as Player of the Year by the conference. Townsend also went on to make the Arnold Palmer Cup. 
 
Eubank played collegiately at California Baptist and Texas A&M. As a sophomore at California Baptist in 2015-16, the Meridian, Idaho native earned PING NCAA Division II Third-Team All-America honors. That year, he finished fourth at the conference championships, third in regionals, and eighth in NCAA Division II Championships. He was the 2015 PacWest Freshman of the Year.
 
During his junior and senior seasons at Texas A&M, Eubank competed in 11 tournaments. In 2016-17, he produced three top-10 finishes, including medalist honors at the Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate. He fired a 65 in his Texas A&M debut, the lowest round by an Aggie that season.
 
As a prep, Eubank competed at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. There, he won a pair of IMG Junior Golf Boys’ 15-18 Division tournaments, including the 2013 IMG Junior Gold Tour Championship in 2013. His younger brother Skyler is a current member of the Boise State men’s golf team.
