Patrick Kent is in his fourth season at the University of Denver in 2017-18. Kent joined the DU men's golf staff as an assistant coach on August 5th, 2014.

Following a stellar career at Colorado Christian University, Kent spent two years playing professionally and three years as a golf instructor at the Joe Thiel World Wide Golf Schools. He also was an instructor at Patrick Kent Golf in Seattle where he taught players of all levels, including high school, college and pro.

Kent, who earned his degree in business administration in 2010, played at CCU under the guidance of current DU head coach Erik Billinger. Kent, a skilled motivator, was team captain for three seasons at CCU and helped lead the team to the first three NCAA tournaments in school history.

"Patrick brings professionalism and a passion for teaching the game and for recruiting," Billinger said. "We are very lucky here at DU to get Patrick to join our family."

Away from the golf course, Patrick and his wife Lydia enjoy traveling, hiking, fly fishing, playing basketball and spending time with the family.
