Appeared in four tournaments ... logged 12 rounds ... posted a 76.58 scoring average ... had one round of par or better ... shot a season-low 69 at Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational ... finished season-best 51st at Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational on Oct. 28.

2016-17 (FRESHMAN)
Made five tournament appearances ... logged 15 rounds ... posted a 76.47 scoring average ... shot a season-low 70 in the first round of the Stockton Pacific Invitational back on Oct. 27 ... recorded just one round of par or better ... made collegiate debut at the Paintbrush Invitational back on Oct. 10.

BEFORE DENVER
The runner-up at the 2015 Pacific Northwest Junior Boys’ Amateur, Kang also earned Top 5 finishes at both the Junior America’s Cup and Canadian Junior Golf Association’s B.C. Junior Open in 2015 and won the CJGA Western Canadian Junior Championship in March of 2015 by eight strokes ... He earned a Top 10 finish at the B.C. Amateur Championship in 2014 and won the B.C. Bantam Championship in 2013, earning national recognition from Cleveland Golf in the process.
