Prior to joining the Pioneers on August 15, 2019, Wogtech served 11 seasons as a goaltending coach in the NAHL, NCAA, USHL and, most recently, the USA Hockey Boys Select 17 Player Development Camp. Upon the conclusion of his playing career, Wogtech joined the St. Louis Bandits (NAHL) as goaltending coach before spending two years in the same role at Omaha and seven years in the USHL. In addition to working with teams, Wogtech began his own coaching and consulting program as the owner and operator of W Goaltending, where he has shared the ice with more than 25 NHL contracted goalies. Â
As a player, Wogtech played two seasons at St. Scholastica (NCAA DIII) before starting his four-year professional career in 2005. The St. Louis, Mo. native spent time in eight different leagues during his career, playing in North America and Europe.
