Honors and Awards: NCHC Academic All-Conference Team (2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21)...Pioneers’ Bob Martin Award for his community service (2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21)

2020-21: Appeared in 14 of 24 games...Tallied two assists...6PIMs...Three blocked shots.

2019-20: Appeared in 19 of 36 games… Recorded two multi-point games…Named a career-high four points.

2018-19: Appeared in 19 of 41 games…Recorded first multi-goal game on February 23, 2019 vs. Miami…Served as Denver’s representative for the Headway Foundation, a non-profit promoting concussion awareness.

2017-18: Appeared in 10 of 41 games…Scored first collegiate point and goal on Dec. 16, 2017 vs. Dartmouth.

Before Denver: Skated in the United States Hockey League (USHL) from 2015-17, tallying 41 points (22-19-41) and 82 PIMS in 112 games played with the Sioux Falls Stampede and Lincoln Stars… A product of the Colorado Thunderbirds’ T1EHL program (2013-15) and also spent two seasons with his hometown Aspen High Skiers (2011-13)…

Personal: The son of Andrew and Jeanne Doremus… Has three older brothers, Ryan, Tyler and Danny, as well as a twin brother, Willy… Danny played at Denver from 2011-15… Favorite movie is American Sniper... Favorite TV show is Californication… Favorite video game is Call of Duty: Black Ops 3… Favorite musical artists are Chance the Rapper and Sam Hunt… Favorite pro athlete is LeBron James… Favorite sport other than hockey is golf… Favorite NFL team is the Denver Broncos… Volunteered at misc. soup kitchens as well as with Action in Africa as a high school student… Enjoys hiking and cycling in his spare time… Chose to attend Denver because he grew up watching the Pioneers and has great respect for the school and its hockey program… Career goal is to play pro hockey, then put his Denver degree to good use afterwards…
