2013-14:

  • Received NCHC Academic All-Conference recognition for having a cumulative GPA above 3.0.
  • Helped DU win the inaugural NCHC Championship and appear in the NCAA Tournament.
  • Played in six games of the postseason.
  • Played in 30 games for the Pioneers.
  • Recorded two assists.
  • Committed five penalties for 21 PIM.

2012-13:

  • Appeared in 23 games for the Pioneers.
  • Tallied eight points on five goals and three assists.
  • Led the Pioneers in shooting percentage with a .250.
  • Committed seven penalties for 14 PIM.
  • Claimed the 2012-13 Scholar-Athlete of the Year award for Sophmores with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
  • Assisted the University of Denver Men[apos]s Hockey program in the acceptance of the Ally Award for promoting the respect for LGBT athletes.

2011-12:

  • Played 22 games.
  • Contributed 53 hits and eight blocked shots.
  • Committed eight penalties for 46 PIMs.
  • Named a DU Scholar Athlete of the Year.

BEFORE DENVER:

  • Played for the Janesville Jets of the North American Hockey League in 2010-11.
  • Recorded 39 points on 15 goals and 24 assists in 55 games.
  • Added a team-leading 105 PIMs, six game-winning goals, five power-play goals and +1 plus/minus rating
  • Added one assist in five playoff games.
  • Tallied 27 points on 11 goals and 16 assists in 56 games for Janesville in 2009-10.
  • Contributed two power-play goals and one game-winning goal.

  • Son of Tom Jacobson and Debbie Fedotenko.
  • Stepparents are Stephanie Jacobson and NHL player Ruslan Fedotenko.
  • Has three brothers, Kyle, Derek, and Hanson.
  • Graduated from Janesville (Wis.) Craig High School in 2010.
  • Chose Denver for its amazing hockey program, tradition, academics and location.
  • Career goals are to have a successful hockey and academic career at DU, opportunity for professional hockey and becoming an orthopedic surgeon.
  • Enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, fishing and boating.
  • Volunteered for Special Olympics, Janesville Youth Hockey Association and Kansas City Youth Hockey Association.
  • Favorite athlete is Muhammad Ali.
  • Played 10 years of club baseball.
