NHL: Selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in Round 5 (152nd Overall) of the 2018 NHL Draft …  Had his rights traded to the San Jose Sharks on April 12, 2021 in exchange for Fredrik Claesson ... Signed a two-year, entry-level contract with San Jose on April 10, 2023.

It was just the fourth time that a DU goalie had earned a monthly NCHC award as Filip Larsson also earned top goalie honors for November 2018 while Tanner Jaillet was named Player of the Month in January 2017 … Had a 22-save shutout vs. St. Cloud State on Feb. 5 and stopped all 19 shots at Colorado College on March 4 … Did not play in the regular-season finale at home vs. CC … Did not allow a goal in three games vs. Colorado College during the year and presently owns a 246:07 shutout streak vs. the Tigers that stretches over the course of five games dating back to Feb. 25, 2021 (four straight shutout games) … Only allowed three total goals vs. Miami in the NCHC Quarterfinal series on March 11-12 (44 combined saves) … Stopped 29-of-30 shots in a loss in the NCHC Frozen Faceoff semifinals on March 18 vs. Minnesota Duluth … Made 16 saves in NCAA West Regional Semifinals vs. UMass Lowell in a 3-2 win on March 24 … Denied 24 shots in a 2-1 win vs. Minnesota Duluth in the West Regional Final on March 26 … Stopped 19 shots in an overtime win vs. Michigan on April 7 in the NCAA Frozen Four semifinals, his 50th career victory … Made 27 saves, including all 20 in the final two periods, to help the Pioneers defeat Minnesota State in the NCAA Championship Game on April 9.

2020-21: Led all Pioneers goalies in games played and started (both 18), wins (7), goals-against average (2.47), save percentage (.907) and shutouts (one) … Finished with a 7-11-0 record and 421 saves … Recorded a shutout in Denver's regular-season finale against Colorado College on Feb. 27 … Won a season-high three straight games from Feb. 25-March 13.

2019-20: Started in 26 and appeared in 27-of-36 games … Made his NCAA debut on Oct. 5, 2019 vs. Alaska Fairbanks … Ranked third among NCAA freshmen in goals-against average (2.15), save percentage (.920) and wins (16) … Led all NCHC goalies in save percentage (.920) and finished second among the group in GAA (2.15) … Participated in the Tampa Bay Lightning Development Camp in the summer prior to the season.

Before Denver: Posted a 4.00 goals-against average .889 save percentage in 26 games for Skellefteå AIK junior club (SuperElit) during the 2018-19 season … Recorded a 2.13 GAA and .931 SV% through 15 games in the under-18 Elit league and a 1.14 GAA and .954 SV% through seven games in the U-18 Allsvenskan league during the 2017-18 season.
